Welcome to the Keys!

As a new owner, we have compiled pertinent information to help with some of the questions you might have.

There is an annual property owners’ assessment on each lot of $720, which is billed quarterly. You can pay the full annual assessment each January or pay quarterly as billed. If we have not received your quarterly payment before the 15th of the third month of the quarter, you will be assessed a 10% late fee. If you do not receive your bill, please forward your payment to: Lake Moovalya Keys, Inc., 8670 Navajo Lane, Parker, AZ 85344. The timely payment of your fees is necessary in order for us to make improvements, street repairs, maintain trash service, lighting, and security. Please notify the Bookkeeper of any mailing address changes you may wish to make on your account.

The Board of Directors meets on the first Monday of each month to conduct pertinent association business. These Board meetings are open to all property owners. We currently meet at 6:00 p.m. at the Buckskin Fire Department on Riverside Drive.

Annual meetings are held each spring, and all property owners are encouraged to attend. The date, time and location of the annual meetings are posted on the notice board, which is located at the mailboxes. Annual meeting information is also posted on our web site at and can be found in our newsletter as well. The purpose of the annual meeting is to elect the Board of Directors and to present the association’s financial statement to the property owners. We look forward to seeing you at our next annual meeting, if for no other reason than to meet your neighbors.

Mailboxes are available to property owners who reside inside the gate. Please contact the Parker Post Office to have your pre-assigned mailbox re-keyed at no charge. They will require proof of ownership.

Gate access cards and clickers can be purchased from the General Manager. The cards are $30, and the clickers are $35. You will need to contact the General Manager to have your local telephone number programmed into the new gate access system. A copy of the Gate Access Instructions is enclosed.

There is no curbside trash service in the Keys. The dumpsters just inside the gated entrance are for homeowners´┐Ż household trash ONLY. Property owners themselves must remove large trash items from the association´┐Żs premises. There is a transfer station one mile upriver on the right hand side, and another in town. Contact Allied Waste for information.

Please read your Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions. Also newly adopted are rules and fines for the most common infractions. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the General Manager or the Bookkeeper. We encourage you to meet your neighbors. Many have been in the area a long time and would be happy to help you find your way around the area.
